Data and reproducibility

Every number on these pages comes from a run that carries its commit, a flag for uncommitted changes, and the library versions.

  • Code: Python with JAX, with 64-bit floating point enforced. 232 registered benchmarks run with python -m blackhole validate; the full suite passed 675 tests on 2026-10-13.
  • Data: GWOSC strain (the public LIGO and Virgo data release) for GW150914 and GW250114, with SHA-256 hashes recorded in data/gwosc/*/SOURCES.md. Raw counts from IBM run 1 in experiments/ibm_hayden_preskill/hardware_runs/.
  • Repository layout: docs/ (state, design, contributing, figures); ledger/ (hypothesis files, notes, understanding, knowledge, open questions); experiments/; blackhole/ (the library); tests/.
